	I've just finished working with author Carol Sargeant on her first book Love, Honour and Royal Blood Book One: Katharine Swynford. Interestingly, the spelling of Katharine became quite the marketing fiasco, as the popular spelling is Katherine Swynford. Of course (how could it be otherwise with the benefit of the internet?) there are multiple other spellings: Katharine Swinford Katherine Swinford Catherine Swynford Catherine Swinford Catharine Swynford Catharine Swinford Katheryn Swynford Not to mention the somewhat haphazard spelling of the time period which gave us Kateryn Swynford and Kateryne Swynford. And let's not even get started on her maiden name! However, despite some hiccups along the way, I think we've almost finished that leg of the journey and can move on to getting Book Two ready for print. These books (which will form a trilogy) cover the life and times of Katharine Swynford, her love affair with John of Gaunt, their friend John Wycliffe who set the stage for the Protestant reformation, and Katharine's brother-in-law Geoffrey Chaucer as he began writing what we still recognize as great poetic works.
